Contractor for the conversion of the Rock Island railroad bridge at the Arkansas River Waterway, Mile 118.2 into a pedestrian walkway renamed the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge. The work consist of 180 LF cast in place concrete ramp for the south approach in Little Rock, 1600 LF of 13’ wide concrete bridge deck supported by weathering structural steel inside the existing Rock Island railroad bridge, 200 LF of 13’ wide concrete bridge deck placed on structural steel founded by the existing bridge foundations and two cast in place concrete pier foundations that included 360 LF of 18” square concrete piling on the north bank, and 275 LF of cast in place concrete ramp for the north approach in North Little Rock. In order to allow the new pedestrian walkway to pass through the towers on each end of the Lift Span; the Counterweights were disconnected from the Lift Span, lowered and partial demolished once the Lift Span was supported and locked into the raised position. The work also includes galvanized pipe railings down both sides of the walkway, lighting, and site work.

This Clinton Presidential Park Bridge project received the Award for "Excellence in Preservation through Rehabilitation" from the Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas and the "Engineering Excellence Award for Structural Systems" from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Arkansas.
